Today In Iran

I recently found Amnesty International’s report for Iran over the course of 2013.

This stuff is amazing in how much is not reported by the media.  Reading about minorities being arrested, reporters tortured, a blogger flogged?  And nothing is done about it, instead we have people demanding that we play nice with Iran, a country which clearly doesn’t play well with others.

Think about it, while the West is far from perfect, and disagreements abound, at least we’re willing to allow free speech that is insulting to our leaders, and could be considered detrimental to national unity.  In Iran if you made a site like this, you could get 60 lashes, or just never be heard from again.

Let’s be realistic, nothing will change until the Mullah Problem is solved, and until that happens, plan on a long Arab Winter.
